KOINOBORI for Children's day.

Let's think about this!!
Can you imagine what is that for?

This is "the KOINOBORI".
"The KOINOBORI" is ran up at the around Golden Week like a flag.
It's a traditional event to celebrate Children espcialy for BOYs by putting up Carp streamers.

The word "KOI" means "Carp of fish".
The carp is talked about swiming up the waterfall by people since long time ago.
It sounds like very strong,then people hope the children grow up strong like them.
Then People rais up "KOINOBORI" with all of perents's heart for children.


I went to My sister's house at May 6th with my dad ,another sister and her baby.
My sister has 2 sons and a daughter.
They are so cute!
But one of son who is 4years old, forget my name sometimes.....
Oneday I got to shock super much when I heard that He asked my dad about me "where is FAT auntie?" .

........Oh my ........(>_<)

Anyway I hope he memorize my name .....

Golden Week

Have you ever heard "The Golden Week"?
What do you think it?

such as sounds good eh?

The end of April though around May 7th called "The Golden Week" in Japan.
Some holiday are gathering in this week.

April 29th.= Green day (the birth of previous emperor"Shouwa Ten-no-" then the name will change "Shouwa day" from 2007)

May 3rd.= Constitution Memorial Day.

May 4th.=Holiday for Japanese(Between day. then this day will chenge Green day instead of April 29th.)

May 5th.=Children's Day, also known as Boy's Day

[as you know May 1st. is May-Day.however it's not publick holiday in Japan unfotunatly.]

"Those holiday" + "week end" = "Consective holiday about 5 to 9days"= As Golden Week!

We can get are how many holidays that depend on year.

Then this one of big holidays are plesure days for busy Japanese bee.
Most of people go back to home town to see family or go to trip(around Japan or abroad).
So every sightseeing spot crowded completery.also Air plain, Train station andhighway overflow with people and car at this time.Most of road toward enjoy place make long taffic jam.

Ofcause I also get these holidays in this year.
I worked in servise indastry before long time.I had need to work when the busiest day whole of the year.
It's first time of my life.
I was at loss what should I do!
I hate crowdly spase and trafic jums.but it happen everywhere!!
and also,trance portation fee and accomadation price are more expencive than normal days.
That's so bad for me.
I had taken vacation to stagger instead of Golden Week before.
Therefore I colud get cheep and peacfull travel every after Golden Week.
I didn't go away in this year but I got relaxing time with my dog near my house.
That was not so bad for me.
She loves me more than Camera so....I can't take her face...

SAKURA and HANAMI

It's such a lovely photo!Don't you think?

The Japanese name for this flower is "SAKURA" .
As you know,The word Sakura means "Cherry Blossoms".



and it's also a Japanese national flower.

I think, most of japanese love this flower.
We have some reasons.
One of them,SAKURA is symbol of coming the spring.so we can feel spring and happy to warm.

and, another reason is beautifull looking to fall flower leaves.


then,one of big reason is "HANAMI" particularly for me.hehehe.

"HANAMI" is the Japanese traditional costom of enjoying the beauty of flowers.

We have a party under the tree like a picnick or BBQ.
we are eating,chatting,dancing,singing(KARAOKE) and drinking alchol to enjoy the SAKARA.

Were you surprized it?
Yes,We can drink alchol in the pubric space under the sky!
It's awesome!if you come to Japan,let's try!!

There are many party of family in the park.
Every one really enjoyed HANAMI.

Japanese Vending Machene.vol.2

Today,I show "Japanese Vending Machine vol.2"!

It's a vending machine for cigarette!
Aren't you unbelievable it?

We also can buy cigarette via vending machine everywhere as easy as drink one.

The NON-smorker population are incleasing than before,I guess.or hope so.
But Smorkers can still smork most of area.
of course,we have no-smorking area like the stations.
I mean,people can smork in the building espcialy food area!
I hate this system!
The restaurant has 2kind of area,for smorker and non-smorker by 70% and 30% maybe.It depend on.
The pub doesn't have no-smorking area usually,it's great opptunity for smorker and owner of pub.

Be course of best muching for smorker to drink alchole.
you know,I don't care who smork cigarette beside me.
However,There are smork toooooooo much espcialy in the pub!!

So,I liked to go to drink coffee or alchol in Canada!

Next,you wanna know how much cigarette in Japan eh?
As right side photo,It's a 300yen per box that in 20 cigarettes like a import one.
Original Japanese cigarettes may less than 300yen.

nowadays,1can$=100yen
it means 3$ per a box.

The price of cigarette is 7$ or more in Canada eh?
so,my friends who is smorker and live in Canada are envy us,I guess.How about you guys?


In the fact,
The machine gives some information of descrive.
check the last picture,

the yellow sigh mean,"we don't sell cigarettes to the under the age.We are going to change this machine to that can reccoganize of ID at 2008."

the middle of sign is meaning,
"This machine doesn't work from 11pm to 5am"

The last sign is.....you easy to guess,
"As you know,it's illegality who smork cigarette,under the 20years old."
